Is psychology and film studies a good combination to study in college?

i don't know if i should study only psychology or film studies alone, so i would like to know if you think combining the two is good. Thank you, Merci, Gracias, Danke.|||That depends on what you want to do with those majors. You need at least a masters degree in psychology to do anything in the field.|||Neither are good if you want to have a job after you graduate. Film is a joke and everyone and their brother majors in psychology when they don't know what else to do. In order to do anything with psych you'd need at least a Master's degree so get your plan straight and think about graduate school if that's really what you want to do.|||study the elements in films that pertain to psychology; there's always something in a movie that deals with the mind|||It would be interesting and fun, but it wouldn't do you any good in the job market. Psychology is the "athlete" track at my school. But if you want to work in your field for psychology you need grad school and to get into grad school you need really good grades because it is very competitive. Film would be good to do for fun, but it is a very competitive industry, and not all of the big filmmakers majored in film.
