What would be the best degree to get for a film producer job or cinematographer?

I need to know if a business degree would best or would a film/theater degree be best? I plan to go to fim school after i graduate college but i figure having a good degree to match would be good. Or if i want to be a cinematographer or director of photography if a photography degree would be better than a business degree?|||It would be best to get a degree in film / media production, since you want to be in the film making field taking classes for film will teach you what a producer, and a cinematographer does. You also get hands on experience by doing student films where you can take on one of those roles. Also you will learn what everyone else does and may find another job position more exciting (i.e director, editor, etc).

I have been taking film / media production classes. You can major in film but maybe see about having a minor in business or in photography. But if you plan on transferring to a film school you should take up related classes. I started off my classes wanting to be a director but like editing and music supervision more. Good luck!|||To be a Dp a photography degree would be better, but you don't really even need all of those qualifications. People would hire you based off of your previous work, not where you went to school or how many degrees relating to photography you had.

If you want to produce than business would be better. it would also be more useful.

If you are going to go to film school anyway, than get the business.
